Alex Di Stefano - traversing over two decades as a producer and DJ - epitomizes musical freedom.
Shunning the conventional in favor of relentless innovation. His unwavering commitment to pushing sonic boundaries - while preserving the soul of electronic dance music - has positioned him as a beacon of inspiration within the industry, leaving an indelible mark with his innovative blend of techno-infused creations.
Born into a family of musicians, Alex’s journey into the realm of DJing and production commenced at the tender age of 10. His innate talents quickly manifested, propelling him onto the stages of renowned clubs in the southern regions of Italy, where he captivated audiences with electrifying live performances.
In 2007 Alex embarked on a solo journey, refining his craft to unveil a minimalist yet intricate Techno sound that would redefine his trajectory. This saw him ascend to unprecedented heights; venturing into unexpected territories and his music has made many a home on revered labels such as 1605, Codex, JOOF, Modular States, Respekt, Techburst and many more, and has earned him the support of industry luminaries such as Amelie Lens, Anna Reusch, A*S*Y*S, Belocca, I Hate Models, Jay Lumen, Mauro Picotto, Pan-Pot & many more.
Over the years Alex has graced iconic venues from O2 Academy (Bournemouth & Glasgow), Gatecrasher (Sheffield), Panama (Amsterdam), Exchange (Los Angeles), Exit (Brno), Victoria Warehouse (Manchester), Tacoma Dome, Colosseum (Jakarta), Avalon (Hollywood) to Fabric & Koko (London); including festivals such as ADE, EDC, Beats For Love, Tomorrowland & Dreamstate.
His new label Drum Chapel, serves as a novel sanctuary for authentic techno enthusiasts. Drawing its name from the dual symbols of community and rhythm, the label encapsulates the fundamental essence of techno music, marking it as a distinctive destination within the genre.

- DECKS: 4 x Pioneer CDJ-2000 players.
- One Shure PGXD24 / Beta58A Digital Wireless System with Beta 58A Mic
- Recording cable from the 'record out' on mixer to a single 3.5mm Jack
DJ BOOTH DIMENSIONS
- Decks must be on a solid and stable surface, free from any vibration or movement.
- The minimum height for the deck setup is 110cm. (health and safety reasons)
- A separate table for drinks must be behind the DJ position.
- All cables to/from and in the vicinity of DJ booth/table must be taped securely to avoid any hazards or potential interruption to power or audio.
- Security must be positioned in close proximity to the DJ booth/stage during the Artist’s performance. No-one will be admitted entrance without the artist or manager’s approval.
MONITORING
For club performances, it is understood that makes and models of monitors may vary. Here is the recommended standard and recommended makes & models:
- MONITORS: Martin Audio F12 / F15 / W8 / W8C / H3. Funktion One Resolution 2 / 3 / 4.
- SUBS: Martin Audio S18/S218/WSX/ASX. Funktion One F-218/F-121/F221.
- AMPLIFICATION: LabGruppen / Martin Audio / Crown / QSC.
VISUALS
Visuals can be downloaded from the Press Kit, and must be displayed during the Artist’s Performance (preferably controlled by a VJ) on all LED walls, projectors and screens around the Venue.
HOSPITALITY
The Artist must be provided with a back stage dressing room prior to the performance. The Artist requires the following refreshments before, during and after the performance:
- 1 bottle of Vodka (Grey Goose)
- 12 x Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic Beers
- Fruit Juice
- Water
- Lemonade
- Coke
- Ice
- Towels
